The suspended game picked up in the seventh inning with Tampa leading 4-0. Two Tarpons pitchers combined to retire nine of the 10 Mets batters to close out the contest.

In the finale, the Tarpons crushed three home runs to pull away for the win. Connor Cannon hit a game-tying solo homer off Joshua Cornielly in the fifth inning. Later in the inning Jasson Dominguez crushed a go-ahead two-run homer to make it 3-1 Tarpons.

Marcos Cabrera added another two-run homer in the eighth inning to extend the lead to 6-1.
