over 3.0 frames to start...LHP Daniel Juárez (5), RHP Manny
Rodriguez (3), and RHP Jace Beck (2) united to retire 10
in relief...The 17 K’s are the most for Brooklyn pitching since they reached
that number in an 18-1 win at Jersey Shore on August 28, 2022...The 17
strikeouts are tied for the most by a pitching staff in a South Atlantic League

RED HOT RAMÍREZ: OF Alex Ramírez comes into the weekend riding a
season-high 3-game hitting streak...The 20-year-old is 6-for-his-last-13 (.462)
with 4 runs scored, a double, a home run, 5 RBI, and 2 walks...Ramírez has
collected multiple hits in consecutive games and has registered at least 1 RBI
in each game during the streak...The outfielder is tied for 3rd in the SAL in
hits (9) and tied for 8th in total bases (14).
STAN AND DELIVER: OF Stanley Consuegra has felt right at home in
Winston-Salem this week...During the series, Consuegra is 6-for-16 (.375) with
2 doubles, 2 home runs, and 9 RBI...The 22-year-old tied a career-best with 4
hits and fell one RBI short of matching his career-best with 4 RBI on Thursday...Consuegra’s
4-hit game was the first for a Cyclone since C José Mena tallied 4 vs.
Wilmington last September 1...The Dominican native’s previous 4-hit night came
with Brooklyn on July 13, 2022, vs. Greensboro...Coming into Saturday,
Consuegra is tied for 2nd in the SAL in RBI (9), doubles (3), and extra-base
hits (5)...He is also tied for 4th in total bases (17).
KING CÉSAR: INF César Berbesi has bounced back from an injury-plagued
2022 in style...The 23-year-old has reached base in each of his first 6 games
in 2023...Berbesi is 8-for-21 (.381) at the plate with 7 runs scored, a triple,
and 4 RBI...Berbesi enters Saturday’s game tied for 2nd in the SAL in walks
(8)...He is also 3rd in OBP (.567), tied for 4th in runs scored (7), and tied
for 10th in batting average (.381)...Berbesi has walked 74 times compared to
