Anthony DiComo of Mets.com spoke to Brett Baty who said of the Mets signing/un-signing of Carlos Correa“'At the end of the day, you want that guy on your team...If we did end up signing him, I would have been fine with going to try to play left field if somebody needed a day off or something like that. I just want to be in the big leagues helping a team win.'”

Mike Lupica Mets.com: 'It starts with the manager,' and Buck is raring to go

Bill Ladson Mets.com: Felix Millan's sweet stance led the 1973 Mets. Bill talks to Felix and comes up with lots of insights for example: how Hank Aaron was his roommate in Atlanta and showed him the ropes, how John Milner helped Felix get accompanied to New York and where he learned to choke up on the bat.

Mike Puma New York Post Sports+: How a burden-free season and a new lease on the Mets’ third base job has Eduardo Escobar fired up. "Quietly, the veteran third baseman suffered emotionally last year, dealing with multiple family matters Mets officials believe affected his play. Those issues began to resolve later in the season, which coincided with a breakout September that earned Escobar National League Player of the Month honors." (Subscription required)
