LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn overcame a pair of deficits to snatch a 3-2,
11-inning victory over Wilmington on Saturday...LF Alex RamÃrez provided
the walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 11th...1B Joe Suozzi collected
a pair of game-tying singles in the 8th and 10th...RHP Jordan Geber hurled
the ‘Clones first quality start of the year, tallying 6.0 innings of 1-run

relief.
WASHED AWAY: The Cyclones endured their first postponement of
the 2023 season on Sunday afternoon due to wet grounds...It was Brooklyn’s
first postponed game since September 10, 2022, at Winston-Salem...It was the
first for the Cyclones at home since May 20, 2022, vs. Hudson Valley...Brooklyn
and Wilmington will make up the game as part of a doubleheader during their
series at Frawley Stadium from May 9-14.
WIZARD OF SUOZZ: OF Joe Suozzi extended his season-best
hitting streak to 4 games with a 2-for-4 performance on Saturday vs.
Wilmington...During the stretch, the 25-year-old is 6-for-16 (.375) with a
double and 3 RBI...Suozzi has recorded consecutive multi-hit games and has
picked up at least 1 RBI in each of those affairs...The Glen Cove, N.Y. enters
Tuesday 3rd on the team in batting average (.267) and tied for 3rd in hits
(12).
IT’S A WALK-OFF: Brooklyn garnered their 2nd walk-off victory of
2023 on Saturday afternoon...The Cyclones erased a pair of deficits to win it
