The Brooklyn Cyclones (8-11) search for a fourth-straight triumph against the Aberdeen IronBirds (7-14) — the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles — on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. from Maimonides Park. 

 

RHP Blade Tidwell (0-1, 5.56) — the Mets’ top pitching prospect — is expected to make the start for Brooklyn against Aberdeen’s RHP Daniel Federman (1-1, 4.60).

CHIEF COLÓN: RHP Jeffrey Colón became the first Cyclone pitcher to work into the 7th inning in 2023 on Wednesday night...The 23-year-old was removed with 2 outs in the 6th frame, yielding a single run on 6 hits...He walked 1 and struck out a season-best 7...Colón is the first Brooklyn pitcher to work into the 7th inning since he did it himself in a win at Winston-Salem on September 9, 2022.
