The Brooklyn Cyclones (11-9) are in search of a third-straight victory on Sunday afternoon against the Wilmington Blue Rocks (12-8) — the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals — at 2 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.
RHP Nolan McLean (1-1, 4.91) — the New York Mets’ No. 15 prospect per Baseball America — is expected to take the ball for the Cyclones. The Blue Rocks are projected to counter with RHP Andry Lara (1-3, 3.06).

SURE THING SPROAT: RHP Brandon Sproat has been razor sharp to begin 2024...The 2023 second-round selection tossed five relief innings on Saturday in his first career appearance out of the bullpen following RHP Tylor Megill's MLB rehab start...The former Florida Gator remained unphased by the new assignment, surrendering only one unearned run...Through his first four appearances of the season, Sproat has yet to allow more than one run in a game and hasn't allowed any earned runs in two of those games...The Florida native has struck out 17 batters - good for tied for second most on the team - while walking just nine.
