Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (25-22) try and make it back-to-back victories against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (26-21) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — on Thursday at 7:05 p.m. from ShoreTown Ballpark in Lakewood, N.J.

RHP Jawilme Ramírez (1-1, 5.00) is expected to take the hill for the Cyclones, making his second start of the year. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with the RHP Estibenzon Jiménez (2-6, 6.45).

LAST TIME OUT: Thanks to a pair of home runs, Brooklyn took down Jersey Shore on Wednesday afternoon, 6-2...Both CF Nick Morabito and 1B Nick Lorusso - the top two hitters in the Cyclones' lineup - went yard in the victory...Morabito's came to begin the ballgame and put Gilbert Gómez's squad in front right from the jump, while Lorusso's came as some insurance in the ninth...The 'Clones also utilized a three-run fourth inning, headlined by an RBI double from LF Stanley Consuegra, that catapulted him into the lead for the most hits in Cyclones franchise history (165)...Jersey Shore scored its only two runs in the bottom of the first when their first three hitters reached on a double and a pair of singles...Brooklyn pitching held BlueClaw hitters to 2-for-28 hitting with a walk and eight strikeouts the rest of the way.

CROWN HIM!: In Wednesday's win over Jersey Shore, OF Stanley Consuegra's RBI double in the fourth inning made him the new Cyclones all-time hits leader (165), breaking a tie with OF Alex Ramírez...The 23-year-old is atop the Cyclones' ranks in numerous other offensive categories as well, including extra-base hits (74), home runs (33), and RBI (109)...He is also two doubles (36) from matching Ramírez's franchise mark (38)...On the final day of the 2023 regular season, he broke a tie with C Francisco Alvarez for Brooklyn's single-season home run record (23)...Consuegra also surpassed Alvarez (22) for the franchise record in career home runs on August 23 at Asheville...The Dominican native also broke the franchise's single-season record for extra-base hits (42) and tied the mark for RBI (63) set by Ronny Mauricio in 2021.

HEATING UP: Not only did OF Stanley Consuegra set the franchise hit record on Wednesday afternoon, the 23-year-old is in the midst of his best offensive stretch of the season...Consuegra has picked up a hit in nine of his last 10 games since May 17 at Bowling Green and is hitting .333/.463/.818 with a 1.281 OPS during that time...The Dominican native has scored eight runs and added four doubles, four home runs, and eight RBI...Consuegra has raised his batting average by 39 points (.171 to .210) and his OPS by 185 points (.519 to .704) during the stretch...NFs Wilfredo Lara and William Lugo are catching steam, as well...In his last nine games since May 19, Lara is hitting .323/.382/.516 with a .898 OPS, adding a double, a triple, a home run, and six RBI...In Lugo's previous 12 contests since Game 2 of May 16's doubleheader, the 22-year-old is batting .293/.412/.488 with a .900 OPS, two doubles, two home runs, and eight RBI.
