The Brooklyn Cyclones (16-12) will try and stretch their win streak to a season-long five against the Rome Emperors (14-12) — the High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves — on Wednesday at 7 p.m. from AdventHealth Stadium in Rome, Ga.

 

RHP Jonah Tong (0-0, 0.00) — the New York Mets’ No. 22 prospect entering 2024 per Baseball America — is expected to take the ball for the Cyclones. The Emperors are projected to counter with the Braves’ No. 4 farmhand per Baseball America, RHP Owen Murphy (3-2, 1.52).

Exposito broke up the shutout for Rome with two out in the ninth on a two-run home run to left-center.
