7/7/24: Mets Roster Moves - LHP Matt Gage acquired, sent to Syracuse

 

The New York Mets have announced the following roster moves:

LHP Matt Gage has been acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for cash considerations. He has been optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.

RHP Drew Smith has been transferred to the 60-day IL.

Matt Gage has been pitching at AAA this year for the Dodgers where he has gone 1-3 with a 4.29 ERA, 27 Ks, in 21 innings, 20 games, all in relief.
