Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (2-8, 35-41) will try and snap a three-game slide against the Hudson Valley Renegades (6-3, 39-35) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — at 7 p.m. on Tuesday from Maimonides Park on Coney Island.

RHP Jonah Tong (2-1, 3.38) — the New York Mets’ No. 20 prospect per MLB Pipeline — is expected to take the hill for the Cyclones. The Renegades are projected to counter with RHP Sebastian Keane (6-5, 4.55).

THIS DATE IN CYCLONES HISTORY: On July 2, 2004, Cyclones LHP Edgar Alfonzo and RHP Celso Rondón combined to strike out the game's final seven batters to close out Brooklyn's victory over the New Jersey Cardinals...In 2006, RHPs Nelson Portillo (6.0 IP), Jonathan Castillo (2.0), and Joe Smith (1.0) united on a seven-hit shutout in Brooklyn's 3-0 win at Hudson Valley...In 2008, the Cyclones erased a 3-0 deficit entering the eighth, scoring one in that frame and three in the ninth to win at Williamsport, 4-3...DH Reese Havens provided the go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the ninth...In 2009, LHPs Mark Cohoon (8.0 IP) and Brandon Sage (1.0) combined on a four-hit shutout, as Brooklyn defeated Tri-City, 5-0, at Maimonides Park...In 2012, C Kevin Plawecki hit a game-tying home run to lead off the bottom of the ninth and 1B Jayce Boyd provided the walk-off sacrifice fly in the 11th to help the 'Clones beat Hudson Valley, 7-6.
