Mike Puma NY Post: Pete Alonso’s options are dwindling — here are his potential landing spots aside from the Mets.  Mike looks at the Giants, Mariners, Rangers, Cardinals and the Angels as possible suitors and offers this regarding the Giants - "The Giants, under a new front office headed by Buster Posey, would roar louder by bringing a Polar Bear to the chilly Bay waters (no, Boras didn’t write this)." 

NY Post: Mets giving much more than a suite to Juan Soto’s family. "According to the contract summary obtained by The Post, Soto is to receive 'luxury suite for all home games, four premium seats for all home games, security for player and family at home and on the road and family services'...there’s no evidence Soto or his family is receiving airplane benefits or clothes, as has been reported elsewhere."

The Sporting News: Mets linked to surprise potential deal with 8-time All-Star after  signing.  "In the wake of the Manaea addition, David Schoenfield of ESPN predicted that the Mets would continue to target starting pitching, though he didn't believe they would go after an ace. Schoenfield mentioned Max Scherzer as a potential reunion candidate after a year and a half with the Texas Rangers."
