Jack Fisher singled in a run in the 2nd to give the Mets a 1-0 lead but it was all Sandy Koufax after that.  Koufax didn't allow any other runs as went the distance with 11 Ks.  Jack Fisher (L,1-3) allowed 6 runs, all earned, in the loss for the Mets.

With the game tied at 2 in the 3rd, Vinegar Bend Mizell (L,1-2) came in and threw 4 scoreless innings before being scored on in the 8th as the Mets lost 3-2.  Charlie Neal and Sammy Taylor drove in the Mets runs.
