The Mets...have scored a major league-leading 134 runs with two outs — nine of them in their first appearance at Tropicana Field in 11 years."

With the Mets down 1-0, Craig Anderson (L,3-6) was called on to pitch in the 6th, threw 3 scoreless innings and the Mets were able to take the lead with solo runs in the 6th and 7th.  But in the 9th, Anderson gave up two on a single/triple/single and Houston was able to walk-off to a victory.  The loss put the Mets '62 record at 16-39.
