NY Post: Mets voice Howie Rose reveals bladder cancer battle. "Rose, the longtime radio voice of the Mets, dealt with it privately during the 2021 season. He received an array of cancer treatments, and it was a struggle...The reason Rose and Barbara, his wife of nearly 36 years, were willing to talk now is because they feel sharing Howie’s story might help others — to borrow an oldie but goodie from Mets lore — to remember: ‘Ya gotta believe!'”
NY Post: Mets’ Khalil Lee accused of assaulting, choking ex-girlfriend. "Syracuse police issued a warrant for Lee, 24, on the charge of criminal obstruction of breath, Syracuse.com reported. A lawsuit was also filed in the Northern District of New York that named Lee on allegations that he abused his former girlfriend — including allegedly kicking her to the ground and choking her — while playing for the Triple-A Syracuse Mets last season."
