The Brooklyn Cyclones (2-4) will look to stop a three-game losing streak against the Winston-Salem Dash (3-1) on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. from Truist Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C.

 

RHP Raimon Gómez (0-0, 40.50) will make his second start of 2023 for Brooklyn against Winston-Salem's RHP Andrew Dalquist (NR).

STAN AND DELIVER: OF Stanley Consuegra had a career night on Thursday at Winston-Salem...The 22-year-old tied a career-best with 4 hits and fell one RBI short of matching his career-best with 4 RBI...Consuegra’s 4-hit game was the first for a Cyclone since C José Mena tallied 4 vs. Wilmington last September 1...The Dominican native’s previous 4-hit night came with Brooklyn on July 13, 2022, vs. Greensboro...Coming into Friday, Consuegra is tied for second in the South Atlantic League in doubles (3) and extra-base hits (4)...He is also tied for 7th in total bases (13).

 

KING CÉSAR: INF César Berbesi has bounced back from an injury-plagued 2022 in style...The 23-year-old has reached base in each of his first 4 games in 2023...Berbesi is 7-for-17 (.412) at the plate with 5 runs scored, a triple, and 4 RBI...Berbesi enters Friday’s game tied for 2nd in the SAL in walks (7)...He is also tied for 3rd in OBP (.600) and batting average (.412)...Berbesi has walked 73 times compared to only 82 strikeouts in 101 career games.

 

DE CAN’T STOP HIM: OF Omar De Los Santos is on a 6-game hitting streak to begin his Cyclones career...
