NY Post: Mets expected to sign 17-year-old Vladi Miguel Guerrero in international free agency. "The Mets — who already acquired Luisangel Acuña, the brother of Braves superstar Ronald at the trade deadline — reportedly soon will bring in the brother of Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr., too."

Abbey Mastracco NY Daily News: Mike Vasil and other Mets pitching prospects to keep an eye on moving forward.  Abbey runs through the Mets system and mentions RHP Mike Vasil, RHP Dominic Hamel, RHP Blade Tidwell, RHP Christian Scott as "The Headliners". She says: "While these four right-handers might be the best of the upper levels of the Mets’ system, that doesn’t mean you’ll be seeing them in the rotation anytime soon. In the past, the Mets have been known to rush prospects, especially on the pitching side. David Stearns prefers to be patient."

Joel Sherman NY Post Sports+: How MLB could pull off its own in-season tournament: monthly prizes, draft picks, All-Star showcase.  Joel has some interesting ideas about awarding draft picks and money to teams with the best records each month.
