1/5/2024: Mets Roster Moves - Mets Claim Inf. Diego Castillo

 

The New York Mets announced via X/Twitter that they have claimed Diego Castillo, 26, off waivers from the Arizona Diamondbacks.  

Diego, a native from Venezuela, has played all 4 infield positions and right field. He bats and throws right and according to FanGraphs has one Minor League option left.  He is a former Yankees minor league player.
