Press Release - Mets sign LHP Jake Diekman, Austin Adams DFA'd "The New York Mets today announced the club has signed left-handed pitcher Jake Diekman to a one-year contract with a club option. In a corresponding move, RHP Austin Adams has been designated for assignment. The 37-year-old lefty spent the 2023 season between the Chicago White Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays where he combined to post a 3.34 ERA (21 ER/56.2 IP) with 38 walks and 64 strikeouts."
SNY.TV: Mets' Phil Bickford will earn $900,000 this season after winning arbitration case. "In his first season in New York, the California native went 3-2 with a 4.62 ERA (1.34 WHIP) in 25.1 innings after going 2-3 with a 5.14 ERA (1.52 WHIP) in 42 innings with the Dodgers."
