After Thursday’s postponement, the Brooklyn Cyclones (1-4) will attempt to return to the win column against the Asheville Tourists (3-2) — the High-A affiliate of the Houston Astros — on Friday at 7 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island.
RHP Noah Hall (0-1, 9.82 ERA) — the New York Mets’ 2023 seventh-round pick — is scheduled to make his Maimonides Park, while the Tourists are projected to counter with RHP Edinson Batista (1-0, 0.00 ERA).

FOGGY BOTTOM: The Cyclones endured their first postponement of the 2024 season on Thursday night against the Tourists...Due to inclement weather and further expected rain and fog, the third game of the series was washed away...Thursday's matchup will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon starting at 1 p.m...The postponement was Brooklyn's first since last August 30 at Greenville and the first at home since last June 8 vs. Greenville was axed due to poor air quality...The April 11 date is the earliest postponement for the Cyclones since Opening Day, April 8, 2022, at Wilmington.
