The Brooklyn Cyclones (18-18) will try and halt a season-long four-game losing streak against the Bowling Green Hot Rods (20-16) — the High-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays — on Friday at 7:35 p.m. ET from Bowling Green Ballpark in Bowling Green, Ky.
RHP Douglas Orellana (0-0, 1.11) is expected to take the hill in his fourth start of the year for the Cyclones. The Hot Rods are projected to counter with RHP Alex Cook (2-2, 1.95).

MORABITO FUEL: OF Nick Morabito has reached safely all eight games since making his High-A and Cyclones debut last Tuesday night and enters play on Friday riding a 19-game on-base streak dating back to his time in the Florida State League…Since the streak began on April 20, the third-year pro is hitting .453/.545/.516/1.061 with 13 runs scored, four doubles, four RBI, and 14 stolen bases…The now 21-year-old leads Minor League Baseball in on-base percentage (.507)…He is also third in batting average (.389), fourth in wOBA (.483), and sixth in wRC+ (196)…Morabito is the only player at the full-season MiLB level with an OBP greater than .500 and holds a mark 10 points higher than anyone else…The McLean, Va. Native’s three stolen bases on Wednesday tied nine others for the franchise mark in a single game…Morabito became the first Cyclone to collect three swipes in a single game since LF Alex RamÃrez accomplished the feat on July 21, 2023, at Hudson Valley.
