The Brooklyn Cyclones (5-11, 38-44) continue their six-game series against the Wilmington Blue Rocks (6-9, 37-44) — the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals — at 6:35 p.m. on Wednesday from Judy Johnson Field at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington, Del.
RHP Jonah Tong (3-1, 3.02) — the New York Mets’ No. 15 prospect per Baseball America — is scheduled to take the hill for the Cyclones. The Blue Rocks are projected to counter with RHP Bryan Cáceres (2-6, 5.45).

THIS DATE IN CYCLONES HISTORY: On July 10, 2010, RF Cory Vaughn blasted two home runs — a two-run shot in the first and a solo blast in the seventh — and drove in four, in a 9-3 win vs. State College...In 2016, in the top of the eighth inning, the Cyclones turned the first triple play in franchise history in a 4-3 win vs. Hudson Valley...C Dan Rizzie, SS Colby Woodmansee, and 2B Nick Sergakis combined on the triple play (2-6-4)...It was the first triple play by a Brooklyn baseball team since the Dodgers accomplished the feat on April 26, 1949, against the Boston Braves...The Dodgers turned the triple play from Gene Hermanski to Jackie Robinson to Gil Hodges...In 2019, SS Branden Fryman went 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI, while RHP Frank Valentino (6.0 IP), RHP Jared Biddy (2.0), and RHP Matt Mullenbach (1.0) combined on a four-hit shutout in a 9-0 win vs. Mahoning Valley.
