After a two-day break, the Brooklyn Cyclones (5-10, 38-43) hit the road to start a six-game series against the Wilmington Blue Rocks (5-9, 36-44) — the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals — at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday from Judy Johnson Field at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington, Del.
RHP Jack Wenninger (NR) — the New York Mets’ No. 26 prospect per Baseball America — is scheduled to make his High-A and Cyclones debut for Brooklyn. The Blue Rocks are projected to counter with RHP Jarlin Susana (NR), the Nationals’ No. 8 prospect per Baseball America, who is also making his team and level debut.

THIS DATE IN CYCLONES HISTORY: On July 9, 2005, DH Caleb Stewart tied a Cyclones' franchise record with three home runs in a 7-3 win at Hudson Valley...Stewart goes 3-for-5 with six runs batted in, clubbing a two-run shot in the first, a three-run blast in the fifth, and a solo clout in the seventh...In 2006, future New York Mets RHP Adam Ottavino tossed 6.0 innings of one-hit shutout ball for the State College Spikes, defeating Brooklyn on Coney Island, 3-0...In 2011, LF Travis Taijeron broke a two-all tie in the top of the eighth with an RBI single, as Brooklyn won 3-2 at Connecticut...In 2023, tied at two entering the eighth, the Cyclones scored four runs in the top of the frame, capped off with a two-run double by SS César Berbesi in Brooklyn's 7-2 win at Wilmington.
