The Brooklyn Cyclones (31-33, 64-66) look to clinch a series victory against the Wilmington Blue Rocks (25-39, 56-74) — the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals — at 6 p.m. on Saturday from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

LHP Felipe De La Cruz (3-8, 4.28) is scheduled to make the start for the Cyclones. The Blue Rocks are projected to counter with RHP Riley Cornelio (8-11, 5.64).

THIS DATE IN CYCLONES' HISTORY: On September 7, 2003, Brooklyn advanced to the New York-Penn League Championship Series when Stacy Bennett worked a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th to walk off with a 3-2 victory...In 2006, the Cyclones defeated Vermont, 4-3, in 12 innings when a fielder's choice and a missed catch error off the bat of DH Daniel Murphy produced the winning run in a walk-off victory...The win clinches a playoff spot for Brooklyn, edging out Aberdeen by a half-game...In 2007, the Cyclones welcomed a franchise-record 10,073 fans to then-KeySpan Park during a 5-4 win vs. Lowell...In 2012, RHP Hansel Robles struck out 10 and tossed a complete game, 4-hit shutout, as Brooklyn bested Hudson Valley, 4-0, at home in Game 1 of the NYPL Division Series...Robles finished the season without allowing an earned run in his final 45.0 innings...In 2023, OF Alex Ramírez picked up the 163rd hit of his Cyclones career with a 6th-inning double to break Peroza's franchise record in a 6-4 loss vs. Wilmington.
