Mets came right back n the 7th as Brandon Nimmo homered to give the Mets a 4-3 lead.  Phils scored 3 runs off Edwin Diaz in the 8th to go up 6-4.  Mark Vientos tied it with a 2 Run Homer in the 9th,  Tylor Megill retired the first two batters before walking Trea Turner and Bryce Harper.  Nick Castellanous ended it with an RBI single.

Brian Joura Mets360: "It was great that the Mets remembered how to hit home runs in this game. But they went 0-7 with RISP, with five of those coming in the first two innings. They had a chance to put the game away early and didn’t capitalize."

Tim Healey Newsday: Mets lose wild NLDS Game 2 heartbreaker to Phillies on Nick Castellanos' walk-off single. "The pitch that changed the game, though, was a fastball from Luis Severino to Bryce Harper in the bottom of the sixth, when the Mets and their standout righthander were in control of the day and the series...Pitch five was a fastball, his hardest of the day at 99 mph. Severino tried to place it up and away. It ended up middle-middle. Harper crushed it an estimated 431 feet. It ricocheted hard off the ivy batter’s eye in centerfield...The batter immediately after Harper, Castellanos, blasted a solo shot to left-centerfield to tie it."

NY Post: "The Phillies’ go-ahead rally began with Harper drawing a one-out walk in the eighth against Diaz before Castellanos singled on a 98-mph fastball that put runners on the corners. Stott, on the sixth pitch of his at-bat, hammered a slider into the right-field corner for a two-run triple that put the Mets in a 5-4 hole. Diaz departed for Megill and J.T. Realmuto’s RBI fielder’s choice brought in the insurance run."

NY Post: "With one out in the ninth, and trailing the Phillies by two runs, Mark Vientos drilled a pitch over the left-center field fence to tie the game 6-6."
