Good Morning. Happy Birthday Marco Scutaro, Mike Jacobs, and Anderson Hernandez. Ronny Mauricio postponed again in the Dominican, Astros tie up World Series and JT Realmuto wonders why the Mets passed on him.

Tim Healy Newsday: Realmuto still wonders why Mets passed on him. “'They called me right when the offseason started and said, ‘Hey, we want you to be a part of the Mets organization.’ I said, great, works for me,' Realmuto said...'I didn’t hear from them for a month after that,' Realmuto continued. 'Not a word. Then the stuff about McCann starts popping up on the TV.'”  What the article doesn't say is that apparently the JT's Agent told the Mets that JT wanted to wait.  The Mets did not want to wait and moved on the James McCann but you would think the Mets would have at least made an offer.  

NY Post from 12/14/2020 - Mets’ pursuit of J.T. Realmuto was derailed by time.
