Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (2-3) attempt to snap a two-game slide against the Winston-Salem Dash (2-1) on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. from Truist Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C. 

RHP Cameron Foster (0-0, 3.38) will make his first professional start for Brooklyn against Winston-Salem's RHP Kohl Simas (NR).

LAST TIME OUT: The Cyclones dropped consecutive games for the first time in 2023, falling to the Dash, 12-7, on Wednesday night...Brooklyn rallied from down 4 to take the lead with a 5-run top of the 5th...LF Alex Ramírez roped an RBI double and DH Stanley Consuegra brought him home with a game-tying, 2-run home run..1B Warren Saunders put the Cyclones ahead with a single to right... Winston-Salem grabbed the lead for good with a 6-run top of the 6th...2B Loidel Chapellí produced a go-ahead, 2-run single, and 1B D.J. Gladney followed with a 2-run knock of his own...RHP Trey McLoughlin hurled 2.1 scoreless frames of relief for the ‘Clones to close out the night. 

FULLY LOADED: Prior to Opening Day, Baseball America ranked the Brooklyn Cyclones as having the fourth most-talented roster in all of Minor League Baseball...The ‘Clones are the highest-rated non-Triple-A squad, falling just behind the Norfolk Tides (1), Durham Bulls (2), and Columbus Clippers (3)...Brooklyn is the lone South Atlantic League team and A-level club to be recognized within the Top 10. 

KING CÉSAR: INF César Berbesi has been celebrating well before his birthday on Thursday...The now-23-year-old has reached base in each of his first 4 games in 2023...Berbesi is 5-for-13 (.385) at the plate with 5 runs scored, a triple, and a team-high-tying 4 RBI...Berbesi enters Thursday’s game tied for the South Atlantic League lead in walks (7)...He is also tied for 5th in OBP (.600) and 10th in batting average (.385)...Berbesi has walked 73 times compared to only 80 strikeouts in 100 career games. 

DE CAN’T STOP HIM: OF Omar De Los Santos is on a 5-game hitting streak to begin his Cyclones career...During the streak, the 23-year-old is 8-for-23 (.348) at the dish with 4 runs scored, 2 doubles, a home run, and 2 RBI...The Dominican native has also picked up multiple hits in 3-straight affairs (6/12, 2 R, HR, RBI, BB, 2 SB)...De Los Santos is also 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts and holds a .940 OPS...Entering Thursday, the fifth-year pro is tied for 2nd in the SAL in hits (8), tied for 3rd in total bases (13) and extra-base hits (3)...De Los Santos was tied for 3rd in Minor League Baseball in 2022 with 70 stolen bases and was named Florida State League MVP.
