Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (26-17, 54-54) try and even their series with the Hudson Valley Renegades (21-22, 60-49) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — on Wednesday at 7 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island. 

RHP Jordany Ventura (3-0, 2.73 ERA) — the Mets’ No. 29 prospect per Baseball America — is scheduled to make the start for Brooklyn against Hudson Valley’s RHP Justin Lange (NR), who is expected to make his South Atlantic League debut.

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn dropped the opening game of their series with Hudson Valley, 4-2, on Tuesday night...LF Rhylan Thomas provided the only 2 runs for the Cyclones with a 2-run home run to right in the 9th...DH William Lugo and SS Jett Williams each accrued multi-hit games, while CF Alex Ramírez reached base 4 times on a single and 3 walks...Renegades took the lead in the 2nd on a solo home run to right by 3B Ben Cowles...LF Jesús Rodríguez added a 2-run home run to left-center in the 6th...Cowles would tack on an RBI single...RF Anthony Hall also posted a multi-hit game with a pair of doubles...RHP Baron Stuart did not allow a run over 5.0+ innings to earn the win, while LHP Joel Valdez recorded the final out for his first save since 2019.
