The Brooklyn Cyclones (33-24, 61-61) continue their postseason push against the Greenville Drive (25-32, 61-62) — the High-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox — on Friday starting at 7:05 p.m. from Fluor Field at the West End in Greenville, S.C.
RHP Layonel Ovalles (NR) — the Mets’ No. 28 prospect per Baseball America — is scheduled to take the hill for Brooklyn in his South Atlantic League debut. Greenville’s projected to counter with RHP Yordanny Monegro (NR) — the Red Sox’s No. 29 farmhand per Baseball America — for his own High-A debut.
