2018 Cyclones alum and New York Mets RHP Tylor Megill (NR) is scheduled to take the ball for Brooklyn in a Major League rehab start. Wilmington is projected to counter with RHP Rodney Theophile (1-0, 0.00).

BIG DRIP RETURNS: RHP Tylor Megill is scheduled to make a Major League rehab start for the Cyclones on Saturday afternoon...The 28-year-old was placed on the New York Mets' 15-day injured list on April 1 with a right shoulder strain...Megill is the second player to join Brooklyn in 2024 on an MLB rehab assignment...RHP Sean Reid-Foley struck out the side for the Cyclones on April 14 vs. Asheville before being reinstated on April 22...Megill began his professional career on Coney Island in 2018 after being drafted...In 10 appearances (two starts), the California native held a 1-2 record with a 3.21 ERA (10 ER in 28.0 IP), 14 walks, and 36 strikeouts...Since making his MLB debut in 2021, Megill is 17-17 with a 4.68 ERA (139 ER in 267.1 IP), 101 walks, and 259 strikeouts in 59 appearances (53 starts) for the Mets.
