The Brooklyn Cyclones (30-30) will try and stop a season-high-tying five-game losing streak against the Hudson Valley Renegades (32-27) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — on Friday at 7:05 p.m. from Heritage Financial Park in Wappingers Falls, N.Y.
RHP Jonah Tong (1-1, 4.39) — the New York Mets’ No. 20 prospect per MLB Pipeline — is expected to take the hill for the Cyclones. The Renegades are projected to counter with the Yankees’ No. 11 farmhand per MLB Pipeline, LHP Kyle Carr (0-3, 6.80).
