Reports: Mets sign International Free Agent Elian Pena

 

Elian Pena, Mets 2025 International Free Agent Signing

Per Baseball America and multiple reports on X, the New York Mets have signed SS Elian Pena to a $5 million signing bonus.  

This represents almost all of the Mets $6.2 million International Free Agent pool.

The Dominican INF Elian Peña has officially signed with the New York Mets.

Bonus deal: $5,000,000. Highest bonus in the class for a Latin American player.
