NY Post: Mayor Adams to lift COVID vaccine mandate for NYC’s pro athletes. "Adams is expected to announce the reversal of his earlier stance on Thursday, the source told The Post. The move will cover Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, home to the Nets, as well as Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, the Mets’ Citi Field in Queens and Manhattan’s famed Madison Square Garden, home to both the Knicks and the Rangers, the source said."
NY Post: Yankees, Mets react to NYC being set to lift vaccine mandate for pro athletes. "When asked about the mandate being lifted, [Aaron] Judge said: 'I’m happy Kyrie can play some home games'...'We’ll deal with it as it comes,' Mets manager Buck Showalter said Tuesday night when asked about the mandate....'I understand why we are where we are and we’re very respectful of those things that they’re trying to put in place to protect people.'”
ESPN: Ranking the top prospects for every National League team. Mets' System gets ranked #18 overall and #29 (tied) in quality depth. Here are the top 10 - 1. Francisco Alvarez; 2. Ronny Mauricio; 3. Brett Baty; 4. Mark Vientos; 5. Matthew Allan; 6 Alex Ramirez; 7. Khalil Lee; 8. Calvin Ziegler; 9. Dominic Hamel 10. Mike Vasil; (Subscription required.)
Tim Healey Newsday: Mets' Carlos Carrasco has his key pitches back after rough year. "...not only does he feel healthy again, but he can fully unbend his right arm, too, after having a bone spur in his elbow surgically removed. Such flexibility has allowed his split-changeup and his slider, a pair of key secondary pitches, to return to top form."

Mets.com: Marte tests out RF in spring Minor League game. "Although Marte was under orders not to swing the bat, he felt well enough to lay down a bunt, sprint safely to first base, and go first-to-third on a subsequent hit. 'Thank God, I felt very good there,' Marte said through an interpreter. 'I think we’re now closer to returning.'”
NY Post: Mets’ Starling Marte takes key step forward in rehab. “'He bunted, he stole bases, played defense and got a lot out of it,' manager Buck Showalter said. 'He impressed [first-base coach] Wayne Kirby. [Kirby] said, ‘He can really run.’"
SNY.TV: Starling Marte plays right field in minor league game as he works toward Mets return. Marte could play right field for the Mets this season, with Brandon Nimmo in center.

Mets.com: Nimmo's car comes with 12 years, 65K miles & countless bewildered looks. Mets outfielder loyal to 2010 Altima: 'It keeps me humble'.
Andy Martino SNY.TV: Pull up a chair: Mets’ Robinson Cano offers a deep dive into his defensive philosophies. Cano spoke at length with SNY about playing infield. Lots of great insights here how Robbie started out at 3B so he had to learn how to play 2B and how he learned from ex-Yankee coach Larry Bowa "you have to study who is running and who is hitting, so you have a better idea."
NY Post: Mets embracing new pitch-signaling device to prevent sign stealing. "Manager Buck Showalter revealed Wednesday that the Mets have been using the new pitch communicator method during spring training games, in which the catcher has a wristband with buttons to call a pitch, with audio transmitted to a piece inside of the pitcher’s hat. Up to five players on the field can wear the audio piece in their hat, according to Showalter, though they are not allowed to be in the dugout."
NY Post: Pete Alonso happy to be a Met despite no long-term deal yet.
