Report: Mets resign Adam Ottavino "According to Joel Sherman via Twitter, the Mets and Adam Ottavino are in agreement on a 1-yr, $4.5M contract pending a physical...As the Mets 40 Man Roster is currently full, an additional move will be needed when the deal is official."
Mike Puma NY Post: Mets enter 2024 with less star power but more depth in rotation. Mike looks how the 2024 rotation will look different than the past two years which were headlined by "Jacob deGrom/Max Scherzer and Scherzer/Justin Verlander" and adds this: "Christian Scott, Mike Vasil and Dominic Hamel will receive looks this spring (those three pitchers will most likely start the Mets’ first three exhibition games) with Tyler Stuart also a possibility to receive innings."

Mike Vaccaro NY Post: Baseball awards dinner’s charm will be missed if this is the end after 100 years. Mike talks about past Baseball Writer's dinners and how last night's might be the final one. "These past 43 years, the dinner has mostly been a pure and unbridled celebration of the sport...The big awards — MVP, Cy Young, all of them — were officially presented here, as were a variety of local ones — notably the Good Guy Award...there is talk of MLB negotiating for the rights to present the big awards apart from the BBWAA dinner, and that would likely be that."
The MVPs are decked out!
