8/31/2022 - Mets Roster Moves - Baty to IL, Surgery tomorrow. "INF Brett Baty underwent an MRI earlier today that revealed a UCL tear in his right thumb. He has been placed on the 10-Day IL, retroactive to August 29. He will undergo surgery tomorrow. A typical return to play for this type of injury is five weeks."
