While some reports say that the Mets and Carlos Correa are in agreement on a deal that just needs the Major League Players association to approve, other reports say that talks with the Twins are "accelerating".
Dan Hayes and Ken Rosenthal The Athletic: Carlos Correa, Twins accelerate talks as deal with Mets remains in limbo. "Two club sources said Monday that talks between the Twins and Correa have begun to accelerate. A separate major-league source confirmed the development as well." (Subscription required)
MLB Trade Rumors: Rosenthal and Hayes reiterate that the Mets are not necessarily out of the bidding. The Athletic characterizes discussions as “fluid.” It’s the firmest indication yet, however, that Correa to the Mets no longer appears an inevitability. Minnesota seems very much back in the mix.
Am I incorrect in saying that there is no new information in this article other than the headline? https://t.co/zQQuMuPU3J

Keep it mind still a source*, but I haven’t dropped any BS from any other “sources” through this whole ordeal, and I wouldn’t start now. Not a troll, just someone I truly trust.
