Steve Cohen talked to Howie Rose yesterday on YouTube. They discussed the new scoreboard and fence (coming in by 8 feet), potential development of the area around Citi Field, Carlos Correa, and the team's future: Here's one of Steve's Quotes: "I made a commitment to the fans that I was going to put a great product on the field...I inherited a farm system that was hollowed out...I've been investing in the farm system...investing in technologies and personnel...trying to drive the farm system where it needs to go...I think fans love when prospects come up. They get excited by home grown talent and why can't we develop quality players in a sustainable way like some of the best clubs in the Major leagues..."
NY Post: ''We haven’t won it yet and we’re two years in, so time’s running out,' Cohen said with a laugh Wednesday on the “Mets’d Up” podcast with Howie Rose...'You’ve got to set high goals in life,' Cohen said. 'If you don’t set goals that seem hard to accomplish, you’re not gonna accomplish anything. We’re gonna do our best to accomplish them.'”
