SNY.TV: Mets takeaways from Sunday's game against Cardinals, including David Peterson extending scoreless streak"David Peterson came into Sunday's outing having yet to allow a run over 8.0 innings this spring, but he wasn't very sharp in this one. The lefty walked three hitters in the first two innings, and while he avoided allowing a run, he threw 40 pitches over those first two innings...Peterson went 4.0 shutout innings, and while he still hasn't allowed a run this spring and allowed just one hit on Sunday, he walked four batters and needed 66 pitches to get through four frames."

Yesterday before the game Brandon Nimmo spoke to the press to about his knee injury.  Here are some of the quotes: "...right now we're just taking it day by day. I feel a lot better today than I did yesterday...I definitely think that I'll be ready for opening day...when I got the MRI, I was actually more relieved that it wasn't, you know, more serious."
