Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (23-14, 51-51) will try and make it consecutive victories against the Aberdeen IronBirds (17-19, 49-51) — the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles — on Wednesday afternoon at 12 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island. 

RHP Jordany Ventura (2-0, 3.20) — the Mets’ No. 24 prospect per Baseball America — is scheduled to take the hill for Brooklyn against the Orioles’ No. 30 farmhand, Aberdeen’s RHP Trace Bright (1-4, 4.48 ERA).

LAST TIME OUT: The Cyclones snapped a 3-game losing streak with a 3-2 win vs. Aberdeen...Both IronBird runs came in the top of the 4th on a pair of bases-loaded walks...Cyclones tied it in the bottom of the 4th on a 2-run home run to right by RF Stanley Consuegra...C Drake Osborn provided a go-ahead solo shot in the bottom of the 5th...The 24-year-old picked up 2 hits on the night...LHP Joey Lucchesi allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 3.1 innings (52 pitches) in a rehab start for Brooklyn...RHP Robert Colina tossed a season-high 5.1 innings of scoreless relief to earn his 3rd win...2B Carson Young tallied 2 hits in his Aberdeen debut, while DH Tim Susnara added a multi-hit game of his own. 

THE JETT AND JACOB SHOW: INFs Jett Williams and Jacob Reimer have made an impact since making their Cyclones debut last Tuesday…Williams has reached base safely in all 7 games played with the club and is 5-for-20 (.250) at the plate with 2 runs scored, a double, 2 RBI, 3 stolen bases, and 9 walks (30.0 BB%) to 6 strikeouts…Since returning from the All-Star break on July 14, the 19-year-old is slashing .317/.511/.556 with a 1.067 OPS, 5 doubles, 2 triples, 2 home runs, 6 RBI, 24 walks, and 10 stolen bases in 20 games between Brooklyn and Single-A St. Lucie…On the season, Williams is tied for 5th in Minor League Baseball in walks (78)…Reimer picked up an RBI double and a 2-run home run in last Wednesday’s win at Jersey Shore…Since June 1, the 19-year-old has recorded a .304/.426/.480 slash line with a .906 OPS, 31 runs scored, 8 doubles, 6 home runs, 30 RBI, and 26 walks in 44 games between 3 levels in the Mets’ system.

STAN THE MAN: OF Stanley Consuegra smashed a 2-run home run in the 4th inning on Tuesday and has now picked up a long ball in 3 of his last 4 games dating back to last Thursday night at Jersey Shore...Since making his return from the injured list on June 29, the 22-year-old is tied with his teammate OF Ryan Clifford for the South Atlantic League in home runs (9)...He is also 9th in RBI (22) and total bases (59)...On the year, Consuegra is 6th in the SAL in slugging percentage (.474) and tied for 6th in home runs (14)...His 14 home runs are also tied for 5th in the Mets' organization. 

AIR JORDANY: RHP Jordany Ventura set new career highs in innings pitched (7.1) and strikeouts (9), earning the win and tossing a quality start in Wednesday afternoon's win at Jersey Shore...The Dominican native allowed just 2 runs on 2 hits, walking only 2 on a season-high 93 pitches and 63 strikes...The 23-year-old tossed 2-full innings more than his previous high of 5.1 frames on July 21 at Hudson Valley...His 9 K's were 2 more than his previous best of 7 vs. Lakeland on April 20...In 4 starts with Brooklyn, the Mets' No. 24 prospect per Baseball America is 2-0 with a 3.20 ERA (7 ER in 19.2 IP), 11 walks (13.9 BB%), and 17 strikeouts (21.5 K%). 

THE ROCO SHOW: RHP Robert Colina has been on a tear since he struck out a season-high 7 on June 21 vs. Hudson Valley, which was matched on August 1 at Jersey Shore...After tossing a season-high 5.1 innings of shutout relief on Tuesday, Colina holds a 3-0 record with a 1.53 ERA (5 ER in 29.1 IP)...The 22-year-old has surrendered just 21 hits and walked 6 with 35 strikeouts over his last 8 appearances (3 starts), Colina...Colina’s strikeout rate is up 3.4 percent (31.8 K%) and walk rate is down 1.8 percent (5.5 BB%) during the time span.
