9/5/2023 Mets Roster Moves - Carlos Carrasco to the IL, Sam Coonrod back up

 

The New York Mets have announced the following roster moves:

On Sunday, RHP Carlos Carrasco sustained a fracture of his right 5th finger. A general timetable for this injury is 4-6 weeks. Carrasco will be placed on the IL prior to tonight’s game and the Mets will recall RHP Sam Coonrod (#45).

IF Kevin Villavicencio - Transferred from AA Binghamton to FCL 

RHP David Griffin: Transferred from AAA Syracuse to AA Binghamton 

RHP Kolby Kubichek: Transferred from AA Binghamton to A+ Brooklyn 

RHP Benito Garcia: Transferred from AA Binghamton to A+ Brooklyn 

IF Chase Estep transferred to High-A Brooklyn

OF Lorenzo Cedrola activated off Syracuse's 7-day Injured List

RHP Peyton Battenfield optioned from New York and added to the Syracuse roster today

SS Jefrey De Los Santos assigned to St. Lucie Mets from Brooklyn Cyclones.

RHP Jack Wenninger assigned to St. Lucie Mets from FCL Mets.

St. Lucie Mets placed RF Yeral Martinez on the temporarily inactive list.

LHP Matt Minnick assigned to Binghamton Rumble Ponies from Syracuse Mets.
