Mets coaching staff update: Danny Barnes and the highly respected Glenn Sherlock are under consideration to return. Sherlock lauded for work with Alvarez. Team considering AJ Sager and Jose Rosado for bullpen coach. Carlos Mendoza is still interviewing bench coach candidates .

Mets appear close to naming Jose Rosado as their new bullpen coach. Rosado worked with Carlos Mendoza in the Yankees' system. Recently he was a pitching coach in Korea.
