The Brooklyn Cyclones (32-33) continue their six-game series, and close out the season’s first half, against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (38-27) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — at 7 p.m. on Thursday from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.
RHP Jonah Tong (1-1, 4.26) — the New York Mets’ No. 20 prospect per MLB Pipeline — is expected to take the hill for the Cyclones. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with the Phillies’ No. 23 farmhand per MLB Pipeline, LHP Sam Aldegheri (5-3, 2.67).
