Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (16-22, 49-55) battle the Hudson Valley Renegades (20-17, 53-49) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — at 7 p.m. on Thursday from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The first 1,500 fans through the gates on Thursday will receive a Francisco Alvarez Flex Bobblehead.

LHP Felipe De La Cruz (3-6, 4.42) is expected to get the ball for the. The Renegades are projected to counter with RHP Baron Stuart (6-3, 4.02).

Live coverage on the Bally Live app, MiLB.tv, and Cyclones Radio Network will begin 15 minutes before the first pitch at 6:45 p.m.

THIS DATE IN CYCLONES' HISTORY: On August 8, 2007, the Cyclones shut out Mahoning Valley on the road in both ends of a doubleheader, taking the two contests by final scores of 2-0...RHP Nicholas Waechter (5.2 IP), LHP Grady Hinchman (0.1), and RHP Eddie Kunz (1.0) combined on a two-hitter in Game 1 before RHPs Dylan Owen (5.0 IP), Daniel McDonald (1.0), and Stephen Clyne (1.0) tossed a four-hitter in Game 2...In 2016, 1B Pete Alonso and C Ali Sánchez each went 4-for-5 in a 14-3 win at Tri-City...Alonso scored three runs, doubled, homered, and drove in three in the rout...In 2019, a throwing error on 2B Luke Ritter's sacrifice bunt in the bottom of the 10th scored the winning run in a 3-2 win vs. Connecticut...In 2021, the Cyclones rallied from 4-1 down in the seventh, tying the game in the ninth on a SS Ronny Mauricio triple and walking off on a DH Francisco Alvarez sacrifice fly, to defeat Hudson Valley at home, 5-4.

YOU SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY: OF Omar De Los Santos celebrates his 25th birthday on Thursday...The Santo Domingo, D.R. native is the Cyclones' single-season (37) and all-time (71) leader in stolen bases...In 158 games over two years with the Cyclones, De Los Santos is a .193/.257/.318 hitter with a .575 OPS, adding 78 runs scored, 37 extra-base hits, 14 home runs, and 61 RBI.

IT'S A WALK-OFF: For the fourth time in the last 10 home games, Brooklyn earned a walk-off victory thanks to 3B Jacob Reimer's two-run single in the bottom of the seventh in Game 1 of Wednesday's double-dip with Hudson Valley...In the Cyclones' previous home game, on July 28 vs. Rome, 3B Jefrey De Los Santos blasted a game-tying two-run home run in the ninth before LF Omar De Los Santos followed with a walk-off solo shot in a 7-6 triumph...The back-to-back jacks marked just the second time Brooklyn had accomplished the feat in 2024...SS William Lugo and CF Stanley Consuegra clubbed consecutive home runs in the sixth inning on May 18 at Bowling Green...It was also Brooklyn's second walk-off home run of the season...3B Nick Lorusso smacked a game-ending solo home run in the bottom of the ninth in a 4-3 win vs. Asheville on April 14...The Cyclones also earned walk-off wins in the last 10 home affairs on July 19, via C Chris Suero's game-winning bases-loaded RBI single in the bottom of the 10th vs. Jersey Shore and, again, on July 24, courtesy of SS Wilfredo Lara's walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th vs. Rome...Since the start of the 2023 season, the Cyclones have suffered 18 walk-off losses, accumulating 15.00% of all defeats, including 26.47% of all road losses, while earning 12 walk-off wins...30 of Brooklyn's 235 games since the start of the 2023 season have ended in a walk-off (12.77%)...The Cyclones have also earned 23 wins in their last at-bat.
