Report: Mets sign 2B/3B Nick Madrigal. Per Jon Heyman and other reports, the Mets have signed Nick Madrigal to a split contract (per Will Sammon). According to Joel Sherman, Madrigal has already passed his physical and the deal is for $1.35M with a chance at $500K in performance bonuses. Per Anthony DiComo, to make room for Nick Madrigal on the 40 Man Roster, the Mets designated Luis De Los Santos for assignment.
