Joe DeMayo SNY.TV continues his look at Mets prospects: "What to expect from Mets prospect Dom Hamel in 2023." Joe notes that "Hamel has a four-pitch mix headed by a fastball that sits 93-94 mph and touches 96...He has three secondary pitches, headlined by a slider with a spin rate that would rank among the top-25 or so in the major leagues right now."
According to Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic, the Mets are expected to hire Eric Hinske the new Assistant Hitting Coach.

Anthony DiComo Mets.com: Correa and the Mets: Where things stand. Anthony talks about how "The most reasonable thing would be for the parties to negotiate new language into Correa's contract protecting the Mets in the event that he suffers some sort of career-altering ankle injury." and adds "But anything involving this many doctors and lawyers is bound to take even more time than it already has."
