The Mets also announced a number of roster moves yesterday.
Via Twitter the Mets announced that Infielders Brett Baty and Mark Vientos were been optioned to Triple-A. LHP Zach Muckenhirn, RHP Denyi Reyes, catcher Michael Pérez, INF Jonathan Araúz, INF José Peraza and outfielder DJ Stewart were reassigned to minor league camp.
One of the things discussed below was how other MLB 3Bs (Nolan Arenado (415), Austin Riley (366) and others) have had around 400 games at 3B in the minors. According to Baseball Reference: Brett has played a total of 206 games at 3B - 173 in the minors, 22 in the Arizona Fall League and 11 with the Mets.
Earlier in the Day the Mets announced that signed RHP Dylan Bundy. "From the Official Release: "RHP Dylan Bundy has appeared in 190 career games (162 starts) between the Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Angels and Minnesota Twins…The right-handed pitcher owns a 54-65 record with a 4.74 ERA, including 285 walks and 852 strikeouts..."
Also, per the Transaction Tab on the Syracuse Mets Roster Page, the Mets announced the release of Minor League players LHP Cam Opp, C Jake Ortega, and 1B/OF Matt Winaker.

Source: Tommy Hunter has been informed he will make the Mets' Opening Day roster. Hunter had a contractual out he could have exercised today if the Mets didn't agree to add him to the 40-man.

Raley, who hasn't appeared in a Grapefruit League game since straining his hamstring, won't need to before camp breaks. He should be good to go for Opening Day.
