Chase Luttrell then hit a two-strike single into right field to plate Spohn for a 5-2 Jupiter lead.

Mets first baseman Yeral Martinez clubbed a two-run homer off Yeremin Lara in the bottom of the seventh to cut the deficit to 5-4. Kevin Villavicencio followed with a single but was picked off first. The Mets did not have runner reach base afterwards.

The Hammerheads got on the board first in the first inning when Javier Sanoja hit a RBI single against Mets starter Javier Atencio. Atencio avoided further damage when he induced a double play ball to end the inning.

The Mets tied the 1-1 in the second when Eduardo Salazar blasted a home run 416 feet to left field.

Jupiter scored three time off Atencio in the fourth inning. Cameron Barstad lofted a sac fly, Montgomery bashed a RBI double and Luttrell plated a run with a ground out to make it 4-1.
