Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

 The Brooklyn Cyclones (21-26) battle the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (25-22) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — in a doubleheader on Saturday evening at 5:35 p.m. from ShoreTown Ballpark in Lakewood, N.J.


RHP Tyler Stuart (1-0, 1.15) is scheduled to take the hill for Brooklyn in Game 1 against Jersey Shore’s LHP Jordan Fowler (3-1, 2.92).


RHP Robert Colina (0-1, 4.76) is projected to make his first start of the season for Brooklyn in Game 2 against Jersey Shore’s RHP Rodolfo Sánchez (1-0, 1.80).

BIG STU: At 6-foot-9, RHP Tyler Stuart has been as consistent and imposing as any starting pitcher in the South Atlantic League in 2023...The 23-year-old had his scoreless inning streak snapped at 15.1 innings on Sunday, but permitted just 2 earned runs over 25.1 frames (0.71 ERA) in 5 starts during May...Stuart leads the SAL — and all qualified High-A pitchers — in ERA (1.13) by nearly a full run over Wilmington’s LHP Dustin Saenz (2.03)...Stuart is also 8th in the circuit in WHIP (1.15) and 9th in batting average against (.213)...The Kankakee, Ill. native is also 1st in LOB% (89.4%), 2nd in FIP (2.86), 3rd in xFIP (3.48), and 4th in strikeout rate (30.8%) plus strikeouts per 9 innings (11.08).
