Portland added two more runs in the third inning on a two-run homer from Alex Binelas. Scott retired nine-straight batters and tossed three-straight scoreless frames to end his outing.

Binghamton scored all three of its runs on one swing of the bat from Rowdey Jordan. Jordan cranked a three-run home run to right-center field in the fifth inning to cut the deficit to 6-3.

Jordan went 3-for-3 with a hit by pitch and a walk in the game. He reached base five times and was a triple shy of the cycle.

The Sea Dogs added a run in the eighth inning to make it 7-3. Nathan Hickey drilled a leadoff double and Lugo drove him in on a sacrifice fly two batters later. Luis Guerrero closed it out for Portland with a six-out save, which marked his 14th save of the year.

The Rumble Ponies will continue their series with the Sea Dogs on Wednesday night. First pitch is set for 6:00 PM and pregame coverage gets underway at 5:50 PM on the WNBF Rumble Ponies Radio Network.
