8/28/2023: Mets Morning Roster Moves - Dariel Gomez released, Manny Alvarez activated

 

The Mets have announced the following roster moves on the transactions tab of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies Roster Page: 

Syracuse Mets released 1B Dariel Gomez.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies activated RHP Manuel Alvarez from the 60-day injured list. 

Los Angeles Dodgers claimed RHP Tyson Miller off waivers from New York Mets.

Dariel Gomez, the brother of St. Lucie Manager Gilbert Gomez, hit 26 home runs last year in the Seattle organization. Dariel was slowed by injuries this year, hitting home runs in just 36 games played.
