The Brooklyn Cyclones (16-24, 49-57) wrap up their six-game set and regular-season series with the Hudson Valley Renegades (22-17, 55-49) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Blippi will make an appearance at the ballgame today and the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Sunglasses Giveaway.
RHP Dakota Hawkins (3-3, 4.34) is expected to get the ball for Brooklyn in the lid-lifter. The Renegades are projected to counter with RHP Cade Smith (NR), the Yankees’ No. 20 prospect per MLB Pipeline, who will make his High-A debut.
In the finale, RHP Jawilme RamÃrez (3-4, 3.80) is scheduled to take the hill for the Cyclones. Hudson Valley is slated to give the ball to the reigning South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month, RHP Trent Sellers (6-2, 2.40).
